Tyler, The Creator was thrilled to learn that his close friend A$AP Rocky was acquitted in his gun assault case on Tuesday (Feb. 18). He shared his excitement while performing in Los Angeles.
Tyler’s Emotional Response
While addressing his fans, Tyler said, “My brother Rocky is not in cages. That’s why you gotta watch who you keep around. Some dudes are just waiting to see you fall.” He emphasized how much he values loyalty, adding, “I love my brothers. I love you, Rocky.”
Rocky & Tyler: From Rivals to Brothers
Although there were early tensions between Odd Future and A$AP Mob, Tyler and Rocky eventually became close. Over the years, they have collaborated on multiple songs and teased a joint album.
Tyler’s Loyalty Runs Deep
When Rocky was arrested in Sweden in 2019, Tyler refused to perform there again. When Rocky returned, his first U.S. performance was with Tyler.
Now, with Rocky’s legal troubles behind him and his new album Don’t Be Dumb on the way, it’s clear that Tyler remains one of his biggest supporters.
