What was supposed to be a night of unity for New Orleans turned into a storm of shade, lawsuits, and controversy. The No Limit vs. Cash Money Verzuz had everything—hits, hype, and plenty of heat.
Things started off smooth. Master P and Birdman each brought out their squads, firing off bangers like “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” and “Back That Azz Up.” The crowd went wild, and even Snoop Dogg dropped in to perform with the No Limit camp.
Then, Birdman took the mic—and threw subtle shots at Hot Boy Turk, reminding everyone their beef wasn’t over. Fans caught it instantly, and social media lit up. “Birdman just can’t let Turk breathe,” one fan posted.
Meanwhile, Mercedes from No Limit had her own meltdown. Her song “I Can Tell” was performed—without her. She accused the team of pushing her out and even threatened to sue. “They tried to erase me from history,” she fumed online.
Despite the fireworks, fans were thrilled to see both camps sharing one stage. Mia X walked away as the undisputed crowd favorite, with LeBron James dubbing her “MVP.”
In the end, the Verzuz proved one thing—No Limit and Cash Money may have put New Orleans on the map, but peace between them is still a long way off.
