XNoEgoX Highly Anticipated Project “SofaDreamz” Debut

What are some features you have?

I’ve had @Maski drop on a couple tracks. I honestly haven’t spent too much though on features. I’ve just been in my own head with my nose to the grindstone. My project “SofaDreamz” was recorded in 2 days. Prior to, I was working on the tracks. We did come up with a couple new songs during the recording session.

What are some features you want to get?

Not sure… I definitely would love to collaborate with some other Artist out here on the West Coast. I’ve got that Cali-Love!!

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?

Oooohhhhh… Man! 2Pac, Biggie, JDIlla, Nujabes, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Miles Davis… I could keep going. Music is one of the most beautiful gifts. Being able to work with others to create history is a gift in and of itself.

Are you signed to a label?

No, right now my Tracks are being produced by Maskibeats. We’ll probably have something in the works in the near future.

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

I’ve always kept an open mind to opportunities & possibilities. I’d be open to both a record & distribution deal. If it makes dollars, it makes sense.

Who are your biggest supporters?

I honestly have kept my project pretty low-key. My kids, my big bro, and Maski have been in my corner since I started.

Where did your name come from?

Making music and promoting it gets you attention. XnoEGOx is pronounced “No Ego.” My name is a reminder to me to always stay humble, kind, loving, generous, respectful and to never let my Ego overshadow those qualities.

Do you write your own material?

I do. Writing is therapy for me. I try my best to write what is real. Life experiences, my feelings, struggles, frustrations….

Do you create your own music video concepts?

No video projects out yet. Probably will have my hand in video production. I like to learn every aspect of the art & business.

What’s your favorite music to listen to? This is literally the toughest question ever. I love all kind of music. There’s an appropriate moment in time for every song. Having said that, the one Genre that provides a little taste of something that everyones musical pallet could appreciate is Jazz. So, the winner is Jazz.
