Z1LLA: Wichita’s Independent Voice in Hip-Hop

Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Z1LLA is a hip-hop artist whose music is fueled by life experiences, faith, and a lifelong love for creativity. Though he’s been making music on and off his whole life, he’s now fully committed, taking his craft seriously and channeling years of passion into every project.

Z1LLA’s journey began at a young age, crafting songs as early as 10 or 11, with his first official mixtape, “Hate is Motivation,” released when he was 18. His sound is rooted in hip-hop/rap, heavily influenced by his faith and old-school music from the 80s and earlier. Though he hasn’t collaborated widely yet, Z1LLA focuses on building his own foundation, honing his skills, and creating authentic music on his terms.

Known for his freestyle and self-written approach, Z1LLA also conceptualizes his own music videos, ensuring his visuals reflect his vision. His latest release, “StockX,” is out now on YouTube, with more music dropping regularly as he builds momentum toward his upcoming EP.

While independent, Z1LLA has clear goals and dreams. He sees himself touring with artists like Rod Wave, Loe Shimmy, and Hurricane Wisdom, connecting with fans through live performances, and continuing to push his craft forward. Looking further ahead, he envisions a life of freedom and success, imagining himself in five years relaxing on an island, reflecting on his blessings with a Dusse and pineapple in hand.

Supported by family, long-time friends, and fans, Z1LLA remains grounded while pursuing his path in music, keeping authenticity and passion at the center of everything he does.
