Uzochukwu Japhet Chinonye, known by his stage name Kidda Jay, is an up-and-coming artist from Nigeria. With three years of professional experience, he’s already making waves with his unique blend of Afrobeat and hip-hop music. His debut EP, The Future, showcased his talent and set the stage for a promising career.
Inspired by artists like XXXTentacion, Rema, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Juice WRLD, Kidda Jay’s music resonates with raw emotion and catchy beats. His latest single, Different, is proof of his evolving sound and artistry.
Although he has yet to feature with other artists, Kidda Jay is eager to collaborate and expand his musical horizons. A true creative, he writes his own material and even crafts his own music video concepts. He dreams of working with XXXTentacion, even though the artist has passed away.
In five years, Kidda Jay envisions himself at the top of the game, performing for millions around the world. His recent performance at the Timaya Day concert in front of almost 15,000 people shows that he’s already on his way to the big leagues.
