Cordae & Anderson .Paak’s ‘Summer Drop’ Video

Cordae and Anderson .Paak just dropped a gem with their new video for “Summer Drop,” and if you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing out. These two always know how to bring the heat, and this track is no exception.

The video has that perfect summer energy, with Cordae and Anderson cruising through the neighborhood, windows down, looking like they’re having a blast. It’s all about those easy, carefree summer days, and the vibe is contagious. Watching them together, you can’t help but feel that same excitement and joy that comes with the season.

What’s cool about this track and video is how Cordae’s bringing back that 90s vibe in a totally fresh way. The black-and-white shots and old-school aesthetic give a nod to the past, but it’s not cheesy or overdone. This is Cordae’s own way of showing love for the music he grew up on while keeping it current. The sound, the visuals, everything about it feels like a perfect mix of then and now.

Cordae’s 90s-Inspired Journey
Cordae has been dropping some serious 90s-inspired vibes lately, and it looks like his upcoming album, The Crossroads, is going to be full of it. He’s clearly channeling legends like De La Soul and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. His lyrics reflect on those classic summer memories—saving up for new clothes and just soaking in the hot days with friends. And it’s not just about nostalgia—there’s real emotion behind it, and that’s what makes it so relatable.

Anderson .Paak adds a nice touch to the track, balancing out Cordae’s laid-back flow with his own energetic verses. In his opening, he reminisces about his childhood summers, reflecting on how life has changed since then. It’s a dope combination of looking back and moving forward, and it’s got us hyped to hear what else Cordae’s got in store.
