What is your artist name?

My artist name is C.G, my first and last initials.

 

Where are you from?

Born in Escanaba, MI. Currently living in Traverse City, MI.

 

How long have you been in the music industry?

Been releasing music since summer of 2021.

 

What is your biggest music accomplishment?

Getting my song played on Z93 (Northern Michigan radio station) was a pretty big accomplishment but, getting where I am today is also something really special.

 

What’s your next move?

Start working more with a label.

 

Are you working on any projects?

Looking to release a project late 2022.

 

Where do you see yourself in 1 year?

Hopefully working on the music more professionally and getting more involved with deals.

 

Who inspired you to make music?

My uncle, Josh Palmer. He taught me most of what I know and had the most faith in me at the time. He also publishes music.

 

What producers have you been working with?

I’ve mainly worked with prodbyone (ONE) but I’ve done some work with Cyrus Beats (Michigan producer).

 

Musical influences?

I love Mac Miller, big influence for me honestly. If I’d have to pick another I’d say Drake or J Cole.

 

What age did you start making music?

I started writing bars/poetry at age 11 and started getting into the recording and engineering aspects at 15.

What place/event do you wanna perform at?

It’d be amazing to perform at the Little Caesars Arena or even the Van Andel in Grand Rapids.

 

Did anybody push you to make music?

Britany, Chandler, Gabi and Trenton. They’ve always pushed me forward.

 

What do you want the fans to take from your music?

Let them get to know me as a person or even be able to relate to my words. Give them something to enjoy and watch me grow.
