Offset, one-third of the iconic rap trio Migos, is gearing up to embark on his inaugural solo headlining tour, bringing the heat and energy of his latest album, ‘Set It Off,’ directly to fans across North America. The 17-date tour, set to kick off on March 10 in Philadelphia, promises to be more than just a series of concerts—it’s a voyage into the mind of the 32-year-old rapper.
“‘SET IT OFF’ is more than a phrase, it’s a vibe we’re creating together,” Offset declared. “I’m ready to hit the road on my first solo headlining tour, bringing the heat and most importantly, giving the fans a new way to experience my music.”
The tour announcement was accompanied by a trailer that cleverly references the 1996 film of the same name, tying it seamlessly to the theme of Offset’s latest album and tour. ‘Set It Off,’ released on October 13, made a powerful debut, claiming the No. 5 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 70,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week.
However, the journey to ‘Set It Off’ was not without its challenges. Offset faced personal turmoil, including the tragic murder of TakeOff, which understandably delayed the album’s release. Opening up about the hurdles he overcame, Offset explained, “I lost my brother is the main reason. I was gonna drop last year. I had got out of a creative space. I had to sit down for a minute and get with my momma and pray and get myself together.”
Despite the setbacks, Offset’s dedication to perfecting his craft shines through. “I wanted to make sure I dropped and it counted. Especially coming out of the group, I wanted to make sure everything was aligned.”
Fans can secure their tickets to experience Offset’s musical journey firsthand, with tour stops in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and his hometown Atlanta. The ‘Set It Off’ tour promises not just a concert but an immersive experience into the artistic mind of one of hip-hop’s most influential figures.
