From the hills of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Itzcaution has been grinding in the studio and on the stage for over six years, pushing a raw blend of hip-hop and R&B that’s all heart and heavy bars. With a name that reflects both edge and awareness, this rising artist is ready to level up—and fast.
Inspired by the likes of Joyner Lucas, Itzcaution is known for writing his own material and building his music video concepts from scratch. His journey started with a track called “Relay” and evolved into a catalog that’s both versatile and evolving. While his label handles the current rollout, he’s already thinking bigger. His recent streaming single “On On” may be over three years old, but he’s preparing to reveal a rebranded sound soon.
Signed under the Original Wavey label record on a 5-album deal, he’s still making waves without major features. His vision is focused, and the artists he wants to tour with—Joyner Lucas, Token, Travis Scott, and Lil Skies—say a lot about the lane he’s aiming to own.
With over 3,000 live attendees at his biggest show so far, Itzcaution knows how to move a crowd. His producer, Patmixedit, helps shape the sound, while his girlfriend remains his biggest supporter, keeping him grounded.
Outside the studio, he’s a proud father of two. His 2-year-old daughter Lyric—named after his love for music—and his 9-month-old son Truce give him even more drive to succeed.
Right now, Itzcaution is laser-focused on dropping a powerful new album that showcases his growth and takes full control of his music journey. Down the road, his mission is clear: to turn his passion into a career that supports his family and secures their future.
