Tears Flow in Rich Homie Quan’s “Song Cry” Video Release

It’s hard to believe that it’s only been two weeks since we lost Rich Homie Quan. For many of us, each day feels like a lifetime without his music, his energy, and his spirit. The Atlanta rapper left an undeniable mark on the hip-hop world, and his absence is felt by fans everywhere.

Quan’s funeral was a true celebration of his life, filled with love and support from the hip-hop community and beyond. His father made the generous decision to open the service to the public, allowing everyone who loved Quan to come together to remember him. Artists like DC Young Fly shared moving tributes, speaking to the deep connection Quan had with people both through his music and in real life. His influence extended far beyond the charts—he was a friend and inspiration to many.

Just before the funeral, Quan’s estate dropped the music video for his posthumous single, “Song Cry,” and it’s a tear-jerker, to say the least. According to TMZ Hip Hop, the video includes some of Quan’s final moments before his untimely passing, mixed with emotional footage from his funeral.
