In a recent turn of events, Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, has secured a significant legal victory in his battle against gang activity charges. The judgment, delivered after accepting a plea deal, entails 10 years in prison with an additional 10 years of probation. However, due to time served and upcoming parole eligibility, Lucci is expected to spend only four more months behind bars.
Renowned attorney Drew Findling, representing Lucci, emphasized the rapper’s refusal to cooperate in any other case and expressed confidence in the resolution. Findling stated, “Mr. Bennett will be eligible for parole in as early as four months from now,” highlighting the agreement with the prosecution for early release.
The plot thickens as rap mogul 50 Cent took to Instagram to share his involvement in recommending Findling to YFN Lucci. In a candid video, 50 Cent revealed his initial reservations when he learned about the lawyer’s alleged stuttering issue. Despite the doubts, the lawyer’s reassurance transformed a potential 20-year sentence into a mere four months. 50 Cent concluded the video by endorsing Findling’s legal prowess, encouraging others in need to seek his services.
