Afrobeats icon Davido is back with another electrifying single, “Be There Still,” as he gears up for the release of his highly anticipated album, 5ive, dropping on April 18. Known for his infectious energy and global appeal, Davido continues to push the boundaries of his sound while staying true to his Nigerian roots.
Over the years, the 32-year-old hitmaker has seamlessly bridged the gap between Afrobeats and international music, collaborating with stars like Tory Lanez, Chris Brown, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Quavo. However, with 5ive, he appears to be refocusing on the sounds that first catapulted him to superstardom.
Following the success of his first two singles, “Awuke” featuring YG Marley and “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK and Chike, Davido’s latest track, “Be There Still,” carries his signature high-energy vibe, blending pulsating rhythms with heartfelt lyricism.
With 5ive just around the corner, “Be There Still” offers another glimpse into what promises to be an exciting new chapter for Davido and his ever-growing fanbase.
