Playboi Carti has finally delivered MUSIC—or is it I AM MUSIC?—after years of teasing the highly anticipated project. Regardless of the branding confusion, the Atlanta rapper has blessed fans with a sprawling 30-track album packed with high-energy chaos and otherworldly vibes.
One of the most exciting moments on the album is Mojo Jojo, featuring none other than Kendrick Lamar. Carti had previously teased a Kendrick feature, and now fans are getting not one but two collaborations. On Mojo Jojo, the two artists tap into their most experimental sides, blending eerie production with distorted flows that make them sound like extraterrestrial villains.
With 76 minutes of new music to dissect, MUSIC could end up being Carti’s best work yet—but only time will tell how it stacks up in his ever-evolving discography.
