Rising NC Artist ODV YUNG33N Prepares to Shake the Scene With “Louie & Doodie”

Rising North Carolina artist ODV YUNG33N pronounced ODV Youngin is gearing up for a major moment as he prepares to release his highly anticipated new single “Louie & Doodie” tomorrow, 11/20. Known for his raw storytelling and unapologetically authentic delivery, ODV continues to carve out his own lane in the hip-hop landscape with a sound that is energetic, illustrative, and deeply personal.

Born in Longview and raised in Hickory, NC, ODV carries his hometown everywhere he goes. His name itself reflects that pride: O.D.V stands for “Only Da View,” a reminder that his small town shaped him, and that the people there are all he needs. The 33 in his name pays homage to his childhood favorite, Larry Bird.

With “Louie & Doodie,” ODV YUNG33N introduces listeners to a story inspired by the bond he shares with his cousin Terrance, someone he considers more of a twin than a relative. The title references two fictional characters who, much like ODV and Terrance, do everything together and mirror each other’s grind.

The inspiration behind the record is rooted in ODV’s real-life experiences from surviving shootouts and incarcerationto winning national championships, experiencing loss, and ultimately overcoming the turbulence that shaped him. His journey is one of resilience, highlighted by milestones like selling a song to the mayor of his hometown for a campaign, proving that greatness can rise from the most unlikely places.

Produced by Otis Blvck, the track carries a raw, uncut, hype-filled, and unforgiving energy that captures who ODV YUNG33N truly is.

“Louie & Doodie” drops tomorrow. Stay tuned! ODV YUNG33N is bringing something real.
