Terrace Martin shifts into high gear with “Full Speed,” featuring A$AP Ferg and DRAM. The track leans on a sleek sample of OutKast’s “Elevators (Me & You),” setting an airy yet driving foundation. While Martin’s signature jazzy, R&B-infused production is ever-present, it’s Ferg and DRAM who take the reins lyrically.
A$AP Ferg surprises fans with a rare storytelling verse, detailing a chance encounter with a woman who catches his eye at Nobu. Instead of his usual high-energy delivery, he crafts a smooth narrative that remains charismatic without turning overly explicit. Meanwhile, DRAM brings his own flavor, offering a bolder take that contrasts well with Ferg’s approach.
The result is a well-balanced track that feels playful yet polished. As Martin continues to blur genre lines, “Full Speed” serves as another strong entry in his catalog, making his upcoming album one to watch.
